Its own power
Nothing to draw from the venue supply. No cable runs across a public route, no distribution board to negotiate for, and nothing that stops working when a generator gets moved or a circuit is reset.
Our sensing tower runs entirely on its own power and its own communications, which means it can go up almost anywhere in the country at short notice and be watching your airspace within the hour. Hire the tower on its own, or bring our operators in alongside your security team.
An unidentified drone over a crowd is a security incident whether or not the airspace above your event is legally restricted.
We give your existing security team early and accurate warning of drone activity in and around the event, along with the classification, track history and context they need to decide what to do about it. Most of the value is in the minutes you gain before anyone on the ground can see anything.
We work alongside your team rather than instead of it. Our operators fit into your security command structure, help plan the response before the event opens, and stay on hand through it to advise on crowd protection, communications and escalation.
Temporary security equipment usually depends on borrowed power and shared wi-fi. By the time the gates open, both are under strain.
Our tower is a closed system. It carries its own power, its own connectivity and its own processing, so the picture it produces never depends on infrastructure belonging to someone else, or on a network that forty thousand phones are about to saturate.
Nothing to draw from the venue supply. No cable runs across a public route, no distribution board to negotiate for, and nothing that stops working when a generator gets moved or a circuit is reset.
The tower carries its own link for alerting off site, and it does not need one to function. With no connectivity at all it still detects, classifies, records and raises alarms locally.
Fusion, tracking and alerting all happen in the tower itself. Nothing gets shipped to a cloud service to be understood, so a dropped signal costs you nothing.
Radar leads the picture, so detection does not rely on daylight, visibility, or the target choosing to broadcast its position. Rated IP65 for outdoor use from −20 °C to +50 °C.
Since it needs no services, you can put it where the airspace problem actually is rather than where the power happens to be. A car park, a field edge, a pontoon or a patch of hard standing all work.
No groundworks, no trenching and no permanent mast. The tower arrives, does its job, and leaves the venue and the public realm as it found them.
The tower travels pre-assembled and pre-aligned, and calibrates itself as soon as it has power. There is no commissioning visit, no survey week and no integration project to get through first, which is what makes short-notice hire realistic.
From arrival on site to a live airspace picture
Deployable anywhere in the United Kingdom
These timings assume vehicle access to the siting and a position agreed in advance. Awkward sites, restricted access and multi-tower deployments all take longer, and we will tell you which of those you are looking at before you book.
The technology is the same equipment we install at critical national infrastructure sites. What you hire alongside it is a team that has run these deployments at live events, from planning through to pack-down.
Radar picks up UAS activity long before it reaches visual range. That gives your team time to assess what they are looking at, work out the likely launch point, and plan a proportionate response while the drone is still well away from the crowd.
We do not run a parallel operation. Our detection picture and our people report into your existing structure, and your security lead stays in charge. Our job is making sure they have the information and the context to act on it.
Before the event opens we work through response protocols, crowd protection procedures, communications plans and escalation thresholds with your team. When something does appear on the screen, nobody is making those decisions for the first time.
Alarm zones fire the moment a drone enters an area you have flagged. Alerts go out by email, SMS gateway, webhook or direct relay output, to whoever on your team needs to know at that moment.
The hire tower runs the same SENTRair® C2 platform as our permanent installations. What you get for a weekend is what a critical national infrastructure site gets all year.
If your event involves crowds, performers, VIPs or sensitive airspace, it is worth a conversation.
Send us your event date, location and anything you are particularly worried about, and we will come back to you quickly on availability and siting. If you are working to a tight deadline, put that in the subject line.
