00About us

Built to solve
one problem
properly.

Most security teams run a dozen systems, each holding one piece of the story and none of them holding the whole thing. We put the pieces together, in real time, on your own infrastructure.

  • Proud to be designed, built and supported in Britain
  • Serving markets globally
  • On-premises first
  • Cloud or networked — optional
01Why we exist

A few big players, and a lot of compromise.

Counter-UAS is dominated by a handful of large vendors, and lots of smaller companies with inferior - sometimes dangerous - sensing capabilities. The bigger stuff can work - but it is needlessly expensive and often features extensive lock-in.

The software wrapped around the detection tends to be thin. The data is hard to get at and harder to do anything useful with. Buy the system and you are tied to that vendor’s sensors for as long as you own it. Increasingly it is sold as a cloud subscription too, which makes your airspace picture dependent on someone else’s platform staying up, staying affordable and staying in business.

There is no need for any of that.

What the category settled for

  • A market shaped by a few large vendors
  • Capable sensors, thin software around them
  • Data that is difficult to reach, query or reuse
  • Hard vendor lock-in on sensors and hardware
  • Cloud dependency and subscription pricing

What we built instead

  • Multi-vendor sensor networks, fused as one system
  • Multi-platform fusion across airspace and estate
  • Modern data manipulation and analysis, not just a live map
  • Flexible communication and notification, however your team works
  • Full stack: we build the software and the hardware
  • Robust off-grid and mobile infrastructure when you need it

Between us we have spent years building multi-vendor sensor networks and multi-platform fusion. Wardyn puts both in one system, and because we build the hardware as well as the software, we can deliver the whole thing rather than the half of it that suits us.

02What we do

Sensor fusion, above the estate and inside it.

We take data from almost any sensor and work out one account of what is happening, then get it to whoever needs it, wherever they are.

Radar, RF, RemoteID, ADS-B, optical and thermal cover the airspace. Door access control, swipe cards, scan checkpoints, cameras and building systems cover the ground. Because the same engine reads both, a deployment can start with one problem and grow into the other without anyone having to start again.

We are deliberately sensor-agnostic and vendor-agnostic, so whatever equipment is already on your estate becomes something we can use rather than something to work around. We support the national and international standards, including NATO/UK MOD SAPIENT and ASTERIX, and our open sensor input and data output APIs make the integration potential virtually limitless.

03How we build

Sovereign by design.

Everything runs on your own infrastructure, under your own control. Nothing foreign sits between a sensor and a decision.

Nothing in the detection path depends on a third party being reachable or still in business. If your connection drops, your estate carries on being watched.

On-premises first
This is what the platform was built around from the start. Cloud and cross-site networking are switches you throw if you want them.
Designed, built and supported in Britain
Hardware and software designed and assembled here, supported by the people who built it. We are proud to be British, and we serve markets globally.
Air-gap capable
Fully supported and tested end to end, rather than a caveat buried in a footnote.
Open interfaces
NATO/UK MOD SAPIENT and ASTERIX. Open sensor input and data output APIs, with webhooks, REST and email for downstream integration.
Scale
One site, many sites, or a national deployment, all on the same platform and in days rather than years.
04Team

Forty years of this, between us.

More than 40 years of combined experience across drones, aviation and technology, and a team most people in this industry already know.

We have built national-scale UTM, rolled out sensor networks across the country, and sat on the regulatory side of the table as well as the engineering one.

Richard Parker
Chief Executive Officer

Richard Parker

Founder and former CEO of Altitude Angel, which he started in 2014 and built into one of Britain’s longest-running and most innovative UTM companies. Before that, a consultant at Microsoft.

An inventor on several patents, and a specialist in distributed systems and drone sensing. He has spent his career building the systems that let drones and crewed aircraft share the same airspace.

Joe Guibarra
Director, Operations

Joe Guibarra

An RAF veteran and a former Altitude Angel colleague, Joe led the rollout of the Arrow sensor network, the largest privately held off-grid network for general aviation detection in the country.

Very little about deploying sensors in awkward places is new to him.

Christian Scheel Struwe
Head of International Business Development

Christian Scheel Struwe

Previously at Axon, DJI and Altitude Angel, with a career spent where drone technology meets the people who regulate it.

He advises on regulation and policy across the drone and aviation sector, and knows the people who write the rules as well as the people who have to work to them.

05What we make
